Introducing the photographer, Jaehak Rho (노재학)
He majored in mathematics in university, teaching himself about photography, art history, architecture, and Buddhist art.
He spends about 300 of 365 days in a year on the road, capturing on film the light of the classical of old Korean trees and traditional architecture.
He has recorded the remaining dancheong patterns of traditional Korean wooden architecture as photographs for over 20 years.
He is unfolding the wonderful world of Korean dancheong art through exhibitions, lectures, and book publications.

His publications include "Korean mountain temples and the world of dancheong" (2019), "Korea's dancheong 1" (2021), "Masterpieces of mountain temples" (2022) and more.

In 2019, there was an exhibition of his works on topic of "the Beauty of Korean Mountain Temples' Dancheong" in Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, Daegu, etc. around Korea.
